The East Center Shop is located at the northeast corner of East Center Recreation Center and at the north side of the pool. The head monitor is John Vandegrift. Shop hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday and 8:00 a.m. to Noon on Saturday. East Center is the main center for Diochoric Glass Classes--fusing of several layers of glass to develop glass jewelry and other items such as paper weights, PMC--(Precious Metal Clay)--to shape jewelry then fire in an oven to reduce the clay resulting in pure silver jewelry, Casting Classes --Making molds to make wax patterns, making patterns, making molds, then melting metal and pouring to get the finished jewelry.

The shop is well lit with all the windows making it bright and open. This shop is the only one that offers separate work stations complete with soldering equipment at each station. It as all centers, has all the necessary equipment from buffing machines to all stages of grinding wheels and belts to make your project easy to complete.

Artisans jewelry is made available for purchase and displayed in cases for your conveniece.
