The lapidary club is located in Green Valley, AZ. Green Valley is a retirement community of approximately 32,000 people and still growing. There are 13 recreational centers located in Green Valley for Green Valley Recreation Members to use to pursue various hobbies
and/or activities. The Lapidary Club has shops East Center, West Center, and
Desert Hills Social Centers for the members to use to pursue the
Lapidary and Silversmithing activities in the following areas:

* Lapidary - Stone shaping and polishing
* Chain Making - Making various types of chains starting with wire
* Silver Smithing - Making mounting for stones and then mounting
* Casting - Making molds to make wax patterns, making patterns,
making molds, then melting metal and pouring to get the finished jewelry
* Channeling - Making frames for stones then cutting stones to insert in the frames
* PMC - Using Precious Metal Clay( PMC) to shape jewelry then fire in an oven to reduce
the clay resulting in silver jewelry
